Make a selection around the text (Ctrl click the layers icon in the layers palette) and select inverse the selection (Select>Inverse or Shift+Ctrl+I). Now delete this from your white layer and lower the opacity to something about 15-20." Can you make a few screenshots of this? it will help me very much :D I dont get this point:
